Wish I could make that much with my affiliates! Apparently I don't know what I'm doing haha.

How's that affiliate stuff work? Can I just start a forum, get a bunch of users, then try to get them to buy stuff off Amazon?

Yes. Amazon will crush you ... repeatedly... but :dunno:

@jsxca has your account passed approval w/ Amazon yet?

Yeah, a few of my friends still talk to him (I haven't since he was here last) so I wasn't sure if it was speculation or that someone actually knew something. I hadn't seen the birth announcement, so that's really good to hear! I'm sure it was just the vagueness of how they phrased it. I read some badly translated article from a quebec site that just said "Lehtonen has problems" :emoji_joy: duh.

Yes! Landy's my boy, but I'm so happy for Mac. I've been waiting for him to find his place and I think he finally is. I feel like dumping Duchene was a weight off everyone's shoulders, especially his. This article about the trade is so on point: http://www.denverpost.com/2017/11/16/sam-girard-gives-avalanche-hope-for-future/

Not necessary just Amazon affiliates, that's going sloooooow as molasses for me because I'm not putting a lot of effort in it. I get maybe $5-10 a day for that. I've been doing a review affiliate thing where I get people to leave paid reviews, basically. A few people have asked but I have truly noooo idea how to find these people, although I know there's lots of people out there who do it. I just found a random foreign person who does it and convinced them to just let me do their work for them while they kick back and give me a 50/50 cut. It took about ~7 months of talking to the person daily, and working for them about 25 times to convince them to trust me to do this, seriously lol. It's not the most ethical thing in the world but for the reviews that I am pushing, I honestly don't feel any moral dilemma with it. I can go more in depth if anyone cares.

Yes! It has, and that's even with me accidentally purchasing through my own link one day and having to contact them about it. I'm only up to $5-10 a day though, and that's when I actively post that day and then maybe I'll get one or two residual purchases on days where I don't actively campaign it. I'll ramp it up eventually though, but it's kind of pointless for me until I set up a blog or get that Facebook group kickin', because the posts that I'm doing are targeting a specific poster for an item they want to purchase so there's no long term future potential when I'm posting links at the moment.

edit: specifically for targeting, I mean it will be a girl going like "help me find a cute holiday dress!" and then I comment with a couple of items that I think their demographic would like.

Bearnie has been trying to get Matt's attention for the better part of an hour, to the point of stepping on his phone and head butting him. I predict Bearnie will escalate soon.

Well I feel like a giant dope. Taking "supplement survey" and this is the first time I've ever realized in my life that it's "supple-ments" and not "sup-le-ments." I thought the requester made a typo and had to Google it and everything.

No, he's building a bar to support the front of the hang glider when he sticks it on top of the jeep. It's a tow bar for a honda fit or whatever that some idiot bought the wrong size of and he bought off him for cheap. He's now going to cut it and weld it to his specifications.

Sure, he could just buy the correct thing for the job, but that would be too easy, no?

Preparing for this weekend by looking up fried chicken recipes. To inhabit the mind of my enemy, I must consume it's flesh.
