I am sensing an UNU drop soon in the air. I have POLAR BEAR senses.

A polar bear's sense of smell is acute, and it is the most important sense for detecting prey on land. A polar bear can most likely smell a seal from more than 1 km (0.6 mi.) away and 1 m (3 ft.) under the snow.

 

I'm just not sure how to get back into it honestly. I feel so left behind because the universe is so big, there's so many characters, and I have no idea who half of the people mentioned in the trailers are, and I assumed every fan already did know of them because they were introduced somewhere else that I haven't seen.

 

Happy Thanksgiving, Turkies. Jealous of everyone getting a home-cooked meal today. I'm eating chilli and watching Netflix since I'm not stateside

so basically the newest set of movies is only set in the same universe, it doesn't draw on the same existing characters (outside of the huge ones that everyone knows even if they never saw the first movies)?

I mean, it's the same universe as the original trilogy. So, unless you don't know who Han Solo/Leia/Luke/etc are, you're good.

lol so they basically just decided to pretend the prequel trilogy didn't happen? I'm good with that. The kids I babysat at the time were obsessed so I ended up having to watch it/hear about it/etc and I just hated it. The original was cool though
