Pedialyte is the bomb diggity too.

I've rarely ever had a hangover with flavored vodka and seltzer (not sparkling water, noo fake sugar for me blech) and a dash of juice or whatever. Probably because I consume so much selzer and thus hydrate fairly well. I usually top off with v8/pedialyte/gatorade (if my blood sugar is fucky) before I go to sleep.

Sweet drinks never give me a hangover personally, but that's a ymmv thing with some folks like me I'm guessing lol. Alcohol can commonly cause blood sugar drops as well, which makes me sickly as shit. I've gone into hypoglycemic shock from beer/wine before, and so I'm usually careful AF if I'm drinking it, and dont really ever get drunk off it cause I like to maintain the blood sugar of a living bird. Granted, I go into deathly low blood sugar more easily cause of my GI stuff, but always be sensible folks!

So, when you say eat a banana, you mean, fun times right? I get my bananas as often as possible! Wink.

Nanners are actually on my list of super annoying allergies so I haven't had one in like 2 decades after I turned red from the shoulders up and couldn't feel my tongue lmao.

I did the bartending thing for a time.. Boy the whole mysterious glamour around that job evaporating instantaneously when I first walked into the ladies restroom after closing.

I worked at a bar, both the bathrooms were pretty gross. People just have a real hard time landing it in the toilet but at least the woman have a harder time intentionally spraying piss everywhere.

 

I have a cousin who is allergic to bananas... and her mom keeps forgetting. Seriously. I can't remember the number of times for family gatherings her mom will be in charge of a fruit salad of some sort (she's not a cooking type, so we have her bring fresh cut food or box mixes) and she'll put banana in, and then she'd fix the cousin's plate chock full. It's just funny after, oh, 23 years or so of it.
