Its the stability of the code as it applies to sound. Plus you can only get Logic Audio Pro on OSX. I have been in a tons of studios everywhere and I have never once seen a Windows box that was for the builtin equipment. Maybe an act would bring in a Windows Laptop just for Acid but that's the only App that you can't get on Macs. You want the most stable platform when you're in session and early on Windows ASIO drivers were not that stable

 

Cool. Thank you thank you. I also watched a video of you doing CI's. Honestly I like what these scripts are doing because it reminds me of when I play WoW and I have details going to look at my dps. It's funny to treat it the same way with your wage counter.

YouTube thought about muting a couple of copyrighted songs in my video so that I could share it with the world.

It appeared to be A-OK to share for a moment, but the Turker who was assigned the job apparently received a rejection and the task had to be started all over again.

The new version of the wage counter (linked in those links but too new to be on display in that video) also chains all HITs that are completed within 60 seconds of each other as a "combo" and displays the average wage of your "combo" in addition to the wage for the HIT itself. It also saves your HIT performance on a HIT-by-HIT basis to local storage, which is accessible to other scripts, but it doesn't actually do anything with this storage at this time.

 

Should look at if you break a record it goes

 

I've actually thought of gamifying it like this, but I wanted to get the foundation in place first. Since your overall historical data is saved, the next step is indicating with an obvious indicator that's easy to understand in a split second whether your combo is above your average hourly for a particular GID.

 

Can't really think of anything right now but if its possible to show something like weak auras in World of Warcraft that'd be pretty good I'd think.

Lol it's precisely because of the similarity to working that I don't actually play MMO games like WoW. If I'm going to grind something, I'd rather make real money doing it. I play either high-intensity games where you have to be in the moment, or intense cerebral games. And since writing code usually burns out the cerebral part of my head, the only thing that feels like a break is usually FPS games.

So anyway, long story short, I have no idea what those are.

I was trying to remember when I got my old router, and I'm pretty sure it was junky when I got it about 9 years ago.

 

I can see that. Honestly if I have a long work day League of Legends doesn't always sound like the best thing to do because if I'm going to carry in solo queue I have to sometimes do everything and that kills my brain for the day. The longer my days on mturk the less gaming I do unless its super chill :|

Random: I've actually played/met Mylixia the CEO of CLG while I was playing Everquest in june and he and I talked for a bit about stuff. Probably the closest I'll ever get to esports
