I'm just disappointed that according to the reddit post the cat wasn't named Riddler or anything along those lines.

There really isn't a good script for pins, as far as I've found anyway. They have built-in keybindings, there's a expand dropdown that explains it.

For most of them, you hit TAB to select the first item, TAB then arrow down to select the other options, and right arrow for the next item, left arrow to go back.

Wasn't around yesterday to respond to the hourly script question.

My hourly script is more feedback/gamification oriented. Something that keeps you in touch in real-time, something to hint at you whether or not a new batch is worth doing, etc.

Kerek's hourly is more like a documentation hourly script for an OCD person who needs to log organized charts and graphs for everything. As far as I know, the only places where it displays the logged $/hr. is on the dashboard and the status detail pages.

How do you mute your script again? Maybe you could add a mute button if you haven't already? Also, you said that it groups all hits you do in a 60 second timeframe into it's own hourly right? Where is that hourly displayed?

Also forgot to mention, mine also actually uses the Performance Timing API to take page load time into account, and it also displays how much your wage was punished by waiting for the page and/or resources to load once you submit the HIT. As far as I can tell from skimming Kerek's source, it seems to start your HIT timer from when the DOM is finished loading, not from when you start navigating to the HIT.

The 60-second minimum timeframe for "sprints" (as I like to call them) is an expanding timeframe.
It's like... as long as you submit a HIT within 60 seconds of the last HIT you submitted, it will be added as a link in a chain. You could also think of these sprints as combos in a fighting game.
And then the notification that pops up when you submit a HIT shows the $/hr and time taken for the HIT, alongside the $/hr and time taken for your current chain.

FWIW the current version of the script also stores hourly average data for each HIT when you're working on the Worker site, but it doesn't actually display it or do anything with this data yet.

Right now, your sprints/combos/chains/whateveryouwannacallthem are discarded when a new chain is started.

I was considering saving each of the sprints to look back on, for a more healthy and encouraging way for those of us with multiple streams of income to conceptualize our mTurk PE.

But I also don't want to bloat the script and make it so heavyweight that it actually impacts the hourly rate that it's there to measure, and some people Turk from some fairly awful computers that this could make a negative impact on.

    Whoops. Missed this question.

On my machine, I've already got a tray at the top for my Emoji script, a button at the far left for my Zen Mode script, and a bar across the top of the HIT frame for my keybinds script. I'm leaning towards trying to avoid adding more configuration UI than that, if I can.

Instead, you just change the behavior of the script through named constants towards the top of the source:

Set PLAY_SFX_ON_SUBMIT_EXPIRE_RETURN_REFRESH to true to play sounds, false to mute them.

The amount of time the notification is displayed is proportionate to how long you took on the HIT.
NOTIFICATION_DISPLAY_TIME_RATIO_DIVIDER controls this proportion. The default setting of 2 means that the notification will last for either half the length it took you to complete the HIT, or until you manually close it, whichever comes first. Changing it to 4 (the old default) will make the notification last for 1/4 of the time it took you to complete the HIT, etc.

The wages that are flashed in the middle of the screen are color-coded red (bad), yellow (meh), and green (good). You can change the hourly rate that triggers each of these thresholds by changing WAGE_MED and WAGE_HIGH. Anything above WAGE_HIGH will be green. Anything between WAGE_MED and WAGE_HIGH will be yellow. And anything below WAGE_MED will be red.

You can change the timeout for your sprint chains by changing SPRINT_TIMEOUT_SECONDS to a value of your choosing.

USE_ARDUINO_SERVER will ping your localhost on port 9001 with data to display that I've formatted for the Arduino-based hardware wage flasher I've made. So for 99.99999% of the population, it will make no difference whether this is true or false. But I did write a cool little Arduino device and a local Node server to act as a middleman to send data to it from userscripts, so it's pretty cool. Maybe buy one of those from me if you want a personalized little gift-ish way to donate. Very few people have mTurk-specific hardware.
