There is still a 30% swing from highest on time arrival rates and lowest on time arrivals. That's not a number you can just brush off by saying "but the averaaaage"

I get the feeling that this is one of those arguments that's just going to keep going until someone realizes how silly it all is.

 

this was the point I was trying to make. I think it's dumb to be concerned with quality of service personally, since flying sucks either way. having a shitty stewardess and a smaller tray shouldn't matter. and again i never actually intended to say there is literally zero difference between the arrival times, just that is is so small that it's ridiculous to me people complain about them when they are paying 200 less per flight. by all means everyone please keep telling me how stupid i am to make this point.

 

Statistically speaking theres a monumental difference between 76% and 84% but I don't really care enough to comment further on it

I dont personally think "on time arrival rates" are as big of a deal. can you define what is "on time"? you're saying 30% swing from rates of on time or not on time, but if we're talking a 10 minute delay, again i think it's really stupid to complain about that if you're paying 200$ less for the ticket.

I think if I'm paying for something, I get the right to be concerned about quality of service. And I've had plenty of decent and then horrid flights well within the same price range. More often than not, I tend to have a decent flight experience, and that's because I'm happy to pay 20 extra bucks or whatever to fly an airline that doesn't suck balls.
