lol, you have to know that talking about them every time they drop will get people sniffing around.

There may be a way around this rejection DEPENDING on how the hit was designed. We all know that the main hit page will normally say:

"You must ACCEPT the HIT before you can submit the results."

nothing unusual about that BUT IF language used in the hit toward the last page along the lines of this:

"To receive payment for participating click "Accept HIT" in the Mechanical Turk window, enter this validation code, then click "Submit" "

You can make the argument that they did make allowance for a survey taker to actually start the hit and possibly complete the hit PRIOR to accepting the hit and that would make a difference on how long it took you to complete the survey. If they continue to reject then you could then appeal to their university's IRB (Institutional Review Board) Once it goes that far and IF you have documentation of the language used (i.e. a screen shot taken while working on the HIT) it very well may be overturned.

Should have done more of those CIs last night. They already approved. I didn't though because one of my first rejections was from A9. It was a batch where they were asking if there were shorts in the picture and apparently everyone else thought something was shorts and I did not. Good times.
