We tried to do one as a part of a bachelor party with out a reservation and slightly intoxicated. For some reason they suggested we come back the next day. Probably had something to do with the fact it was 1am also.

Okay, so the one I go to , it's has a room called "Sherlock room" (it changes, so this is not a spoiler).
We started looking around a desk, found a key. They key opened a door in the desk.
Open the drawer, there was a jigsaw puzzle. Put together the puzzle, there's a message on the back on the location of next clue.
Find the clue, it tells where the next key is.
Fid the key, it has a combination small safe. Have to figure that out. Notice a flash light, see it's a black light flashlight. start shining it around and find the combination on a poster.
keep going and going. eventually, the combination to the door is found, enter it. You hear "CONGRATULATIONS!"
Get a picture taken.

I've done rooms like these several times. I've only been locked out once. That was because my team was stupid and i just let them fail.
