See when you say it like that it just sounds like a waste of a Masters. I'm a GM, I make $112,000 gross plus bonuses. I was just offered a promotion to Regional District Manager with a $65,000 pay bump. But I have to move... again. But yet we are both still here... why? Everyone knows why i'm here. You haven't been shy about your goals. We come here to be apart of something bigger than ourselves and to share any knowledge we have along with learn anything new and relevant. The amount of money you make doesn't matter to me. I offered to send people money when they we're in bad shape here. That's a great thing about the Hub. We're all just turkers in a crazy Amazon world. *if that somehow didn't come out right, I basically meant ONE LOVE*
Oh, I'm right there with ya. There is no way that I would be either working a job OR mTurking. However, anyone can take my initial hard work and throw it down the tube if I'm not doing what they want, then claim I'm mentally ill for mentioning it. 100% of all humans participate in this. So for me, mTurking is the same as a billion dollars. There is no difference in possession because nothing is mine that other people don't arbitrarily choose as a motivational technique, and mTurk gets the advantage in that there's no investment that is over 24 hours old. Cause I don't invest in other people's games. It sucks other people chose that for me, but were it not for that, I sure as hell would not be Turking right now.
