    They might just need to re-verify things. Just answer their questions. Make sure you didn't miss an email asking for something, and check your Amazon Payments account for notifications as well (upper right hand corner). It shouldn't take too long if nothing is amiss in their eyes. They asked me to re-send my ID to them again after having a MTurk account for years. You can never tell with them.

    They completely rejected my husband's payments account. He called them to see if they needed any documentation and they just said to create another account and maybe it will work this time. They wouldn't tell him why or what he could do to fix it.

    Correct. I can't name the college that's still in official session this week. Even the ones that got out late should be out by now. And it is different depending on the university, but when I worked at one, they gave everyone off between Xmas and New Years, didn't have to put in for the time, so survey volume can easily be down til January. But it's also a time for professors to catch up with research since they aren't bogged down with classes and students, so there will still be some.

    This is one of those kinds of things that makes my programming course mTurk-specific. There's a lot of API usage and mTurk-specific patterns that don't really exist in any particular course anywhere.

    Good. Keep an eye on your email to make sure they don't request anything else from you, like a copy of your license since they said verifying your identity.
