    Things like AWS and containerization are making that more and more of a reality. The ability to deploy in a containerized environment in a "rolling upgrade" fashion is getting there. Couple that with load balanced environments and things like that and the whole "don't touch production during business hours" is out the window.

    The problem is getting everything that you've had running in the past to work like that and getting the devs to rewrite shit... that's the real roadblock

    Well, they should post a message letting people know that they won't be able to submit HITs -- at least that's what I'd do. I wonder what they are doing considering the site was running fine.
