    No, I'm referring to OW. I always use GID for PC. I recall when I was setting up OW for the first time reading instructions that explained how the search field in OW could be a GID, a requester number, or a search string. It also said GIDs will provide better results in OW.

    You really want the requester IDs in OW. That way you see anytime they post a hit. Take for instance someone like Angela Listy. She does a zillion surveys, but if you do the GID you lose out on anything else she posts, and that is definitely NOT the purpose of OW. If you have the RID, it'll ding you every time she puts up something, even her most asinine surveys.

    I agree, and that's why I've been putting in the requester IDs instead of GIDs. I was just wondering if anyone actually thought using GIDs was faster and/or preferable in OW. It appears that isn't the case.
