    You're the real winner here, bb. I was only hitting them hard because the HVAC man replaced a part on my furnace that is smaller than my palm. And for some reason it cost $250?!

    I don't exactly do this for fun, I do this to make extra change on down time from my actual Business aka Job. "muddies the waters on reviews" Have you not seen the Turkopticon ratings for these surveys the past 2-3 years? They get ranked 5 for pay all the time... You all act like I rated it as Good. I didn't I rated it as Fair. No the update said don't rate something that pays $1 an Hour as Generous (Which is what you are acting like I did) or Something that pays $100 an Hour as Underpaid. It did not say you can't rate something $3-4 an hour as Fair... Again I think it is completely fair based on what other sites pay for these surveys. If you don't think it is fair then DON'T DO IT lol! That is what the reviews are for. You know if you were really worried about making money and how much your time is worth you wouldn't be here wasting time chatting and arguing about other people's opinions honestly. You do know you would make more money for your time if you actually worked on mturk. Arguing about my opinion that is completely fair isn't making you or me any money. Gah always gotta be snowflakes getting into their emotions thinking their opinion is superior. Look if you don't think it is fair then that's fine don't do the hit. But I'm not changing my opinion to please you or anyone else ok? Calm down and go get back to "work".

    TL;DR. All I see is mention of comparison to TO.

    TurkerView is not TO and is not meant to used as such. It's for accurate data of turkers who actually want to do decent work and get paid a decent wage.

    I don't have that sense of urgency to get to work to match what you're earning.

    While you're making $3/hr., I can come out ahead of your wage by scratching my ass while you do 6 surveys. Then I just do one decently-paying one, and boom. Ahead.

    I think you're the one that needs to calm down. I'm trying to have a civil discussion with you. I've only tried to explain why I disagree with you about this not being a job and why I don't feel that $3/hr is fair.

    I don't feel that I'm wasting my time posting on a forum discussing pay for this Business that I'm doing. Yup, I pay self employment taxes on what I make here so it is an actual business. As I've said, I think that's where the disconnect lies between our viewpoints.

    TV is not TO and therefore comparisons between the two regarding how to rate aren't very helpful. If you look at the guidelines for submitting a review (which can be found by clicking "Learn more" on the home page), you'll note that Fair is minimum wage or around it; under minimum wage is considered underpaid:

    If the wage had been $6/hr or perhaps even $5/hr you might have a decent case for rating it fair based on how easy it was; however, to rate it half the desired amount as per guidelines is missing the point. TV reviews are designed to be more factually-based, not opinion based, and minimum wage happens to be the standard we're using. Please consider TV's standards (rather than your own) to more broadly serve the community. TV only works if we're all playing with the same rules.

    That said, any further discussion on this topic for today is best handled via DM. :)
