Christmas break has super trashed my routine.

I just quit Overwatch since every patch makes the game more and more like an RNG rock-paper-scissors for people who are bad at games.

Any idea of something else I should play? Is PUBG any good?

Wasn't it always that way? I'd say go play TF2, but pyro is still fucked and requires even less "aim" than ever.

 

I just installed pubg but haven't played it yet.

Its okay, depends how patient you are. I like fortnite because the games a fast paced. Pubg take a lot of time

Yeah, Overwatch had a lot of RNG irritation compared to a lot of other games I played, but they've just made it worse and worse. Moira is the latest in the crusade to make combat require no aim or other skill. Lob a bouncy ball of death and then get your crosshair sorta kinda close and let auto-aim take over. Teleport so that nobody can hit you while your bouncy ball is doing damage. Or pick recently-buffed Junkrat and just lob shit around corners. They balance their heroes based on average winrates, and they try to make it so that all heroes have the same winrate (terrible terrible approach to game balance).

 

Yeah, Moira was bullshit when I played the free weekend. That and the fact that I kept being sniped because I had no idea where sniper porches are and the entire fucking existence of Mercy. Junkrat is basically TF2's demo with rollers than do full contact damage(instead of just under half) and can sticky jump without losing half his health(though it's far more limiting in Overwatch). Seems like a TF2 parody for couch gamers every time I hear about it, to be honest. Though the current TF2 dev team seems to be taking lessons from Overwatch given how ridiculously overbuffed pyro is now. Pubs are basically unplayable, though the competitive mode is fine because people who play competitive TF2 realize that pyro is both bullshit to play as and against.

 

Sounds like everyone gets a trophy just for playing - lol

They basically do. Also there's a lot of other questionable decisions like filtering "gg ez" banning "one trick ponies" who only play one class and don't switch and removing the scoreboard so you can't shittalk bottomfragging scum.
