01/02 - Tenacious Tuesday!

I guess this thing " --disable-background-timer-throttling" does not work anymore since Panda Crazy cycles are increasing if I let it run at the background/

 

I played CSGO for a long time, but when they introduced Prime vs. non-Prime matchmaking, the playerbase seemed to split, and queues at my rank (LEM-Supreme) would often take 10+ minutes. So shortly after they did that, I switched to Overwatch as my main game, just because it was popular and I didn't have to wait a century to get into a game.

Yep. That's how you make a game popular for the masses. Make something that makes people feel more skilled than they are while requiring no time investment into developing skill.

 

Everyone gets a prize for playing Birb bowl! But it looks very dissapointed in you, so I think it's ok.

 

I thought it was Valve cutting down on gambling sites that killed CSGO. I know a few people who only cared about the betting and not the actual game itself.

 

For those of you turking last year, I know this slowness is typical, but about how long would you say it lasts? For all you old timers

Still works for me. Panda Crazy has been hit or miss on the cycling increasing in the background or when I keep it in the main in the last few weeks. I've noticed more cycle increases when PC has been updated but I haven't refreshed the PC window. But I'm still able to keep it in the background without many problems.

 

This is killing my budget. I didn't count on it being slow after the 1st holiday

 

I kinda had an inkling but now I'm like

 

Regular school schedules dictates most things if you're talking about academic requesters. So not this week, but next week and the week after things will pick up for them. For businesses, it could be end of this week or next when they get back into the swing of things. Very typical though and always best to plan for regular holidays of schools and businesses. Just like you don't expect much on a weekend, you shouldn't expect much when they are closed at other times.

 

Oh yeah. I almost forgot. They want to ban people who take the time to really get good at one playstyle.

The auto-ban system is fucking ridiculous, and the hypocrisy of the team lead is ridiculous.

^^^ Seriously, watch this. This is gonna be one of the stupidest things you'll ever see someone say. The dude is ruining the gameplay experience for hundreds of chat-banned or otherwise-banned players because he's on a crusade to make people hold hands and sing kumbaya while playing competitive games. Not gonna happen. He talks about how anonymity is supposedly one of the problems, but if you look at any IRL game, you see the same kind of "toxic" (gag... lol) behavior in every sport. ^^^
