Each time I try to click a hit to try from the forum, the same "Julian" requester hit shows up in my queue instead. What to do?

When you try to accept a hit that's no longer available, mturk reverts to your last search. So your last search was probably "Julian" and it's just going there.

 

How could you possibly be cold at 72°??? If my house goes above 68 I'm turning on the ac regardless of what season it is.
