Just wanted to confirm this is what my post about the rekogs and empty data was about.

If you've filled out a hit which is submitting directly, then just doing a submit() or fixing the form action to properly submit (if borked) is probably fine.

Of course, always watch what you're actually sending in Chrome's network tab* lest you have one of those nightmares where you're looking at 3.8k of rejections in your dashboard, wake up in a cold sweat, and let out the breath you didn't realize you were holding when you see you have not, in fact, caught up to Kad just yet.

* If you're not using a webkit based browser, then this portion of this post which had some tasty insults has been pre-redacted to save the mods unnecessary work. TGIF!

 

the TV script that gives a hit's usd/hour in queue appears (to me) not to be taking into account money earned as a bonus.



in the queue, it shows as 8 minutes for the base pay 1$ so 7.41$/hr

is this what's occurring or do I have something wrong?

I didn't see this right away, but to clarify, the "it's broke" script calls the submit() function of the first form on the page, which is almost always the hit form (It might always be, I've never seen a situation where it's not, but I suppose it might be possible). That's what the submit button itself does. What the script DOES NOT do, is call the click() function on the submit button, which is called when the mouse clicks the button, before the submit function is called.

Rekogs had a click function on their submit button that would post the data to their server, wait for a response, then submit the form. The data would still be recoverable through mturk, but not on their servers, hence the "empty data".

For 99% of hits, using the submit function (the way the script works) is fine.

 

All of mine were less than 8. Even the Rectum one.

That's exactly what's happening lol, unfortunately I have to rewrite that whole part of the way the data is stored for the API to fix it and haven't had time someone pointed it out a week or so ago, I swear its high on the TODO list haha
