The show that I watched in in one sitting ended in a cliffhanger...

 

No matter how many jobs i have PC scanning for I get 2 PE's with in 5 min. Then they just building up overtime. Only thing im running is MTS, PC and TV.

 

The amount of jobs doesn't change the PREs that you would get.

oh fuck it is late... I was like "wtf mad labs" but I just noticed what time it was.

 

Maybe my net is being slow, I have been slow ticking off jobs to see if that would work. I am now trying with the search time changes to 1402ms see if that helps at all.

Mturk has been kind of up and down on pres/catpchas since the changeover but especially over the past two weeks. Last week I had a day with two marathon sessions of over 100 captchas in a row, and then yesterday I had a batch that I did ~400 in a row with no captchas followed by 20 in a row, and none yet today.

I've also had some hours with pres at 3 seconds a page load and some hours at 1000/900 HF/PC while doing CIs as fast as I can with 0 pres.

 

Thats crazy all the, now that you mention it i dont think i have seen a captchas in a few days.

 

Yeah, I'm not sure what exactly the new criteria is, and I'm not convinced mturk is either. It seems like there's a hidden captcha cooldown, if you're doing hits slowly enough then you're much less likely to get a captcha, but also maybe it's a value cooldown? If I'm working on a penny to nickle batch then I get captcha'd every 35, but if I'm working on a dime+ batch sometimes I'll get 100, 200, or more, followed by a bunch of catchup captchas. Or maybe not.

Overall I'd guess it's mostly better now than before for most people, but you can run into a weird edge case that can make you grind your gears for half an hour.
