I loved Hallmark, it was probably the best job I ever had. I was not a merchandiser, I had more responsibility but it was very flexible for all of the part time positions. I had a coworker that did sunglasses too and the hours were flexible; the merchandisers set their schedules with the store manager. If I could have gone full time and gotten benefits I would never have left Hallmark, but that was a different time. Hallmark merchandisers generally did about 4 hours a week unless there was a holiday or a reset; that was my job, I did the resets.

Depends what your doing. My friend does it and she likes it. She goes to various stores and sets up cardboard off shelf display items. Mostly light stuff. She sets her own hours as she works full time with me on a shift work schedule. Sometimes she bring us back samples they give her not a bad gig. She says it doesn't take long in each store. The only pain is when they are far.

 

I tried to take cute pics of Bearnie in his castle for @lefty , but he just looks like he's having a mid life crisis.




He had to take a very large pill last night, and he's a bit of a space cadet today.
