Idk why he has/has not handed out blocks but I know they're semi-consistent filler and its better to have the qual than not. Don't worry about TO in this case (though I know at least one person here unfortunately got blocked) the dude is mostly communicative & always around.

Agree with you all. As someone who bought Images and Word on cassette tape, has all of Petrucci's solo albums, Liquid Tension Experiment bootlegs, and who has bought and read the biography, I'll fess up to maybe being a little bit of a DT fan.
(Scenes From A Memory has to be the best album, maybe in any genre. Has some of the most beautiful phrases as well as the most chaotic and heavy, no?)

Of course, Maiden's also one of my other favorite bands, even if sharing Steve's taste in FCs tends to result in me always being low in the UNU EPL ranks.

For something out there though (perhaps too chill for some of you guys?), if you all haven't checked out Thomas Zwijsen, do so. Blaze Bailey's touring with him now and it's quite the different take.


And as for Metallica and getting better with age (and Lars keeping the tradition alive ripping off his favorite NWoBHM bands: Listen at 4:22), I liked some new material enough for it to get on my walking tape:
