@ChrisTurk can probably name that place on campus. I was unreasonably excited that I left for lunch, and then managed to snipe a first row parking spot when I got back for class. Also, holy hell chubby face birb. I've blacked out that point in time!

I really want to restore an original eventually. I love mini coopers and really all rally cars.

When I worked for an f200 team, I used to park my cooper in the "eurotrash," area with all the coopers/fiats/etc- it was a little club of travelling weirdos who all loved our tiny cars. It was A+.

Always the brooks center IME. I don't even recognize the building tbh but I can assume its this because no one was ever excited to park anywhere else that I can recall for lunch time. Then again like 2/3rds of that campus is a complete mystery to me so could be wrong.

 

Yup, def the Brooks center. I worked in that building too, so it was habitual to park there.

Sometimes I think, "Phew. I have physical evidence we went to the same college, so he hopefully doesn't think I'm just a creepy stalker."

I think I may have accidentally undersold something.

We just got the gas line to the fireplace cut, so I can finally sell it. Originally I was going to post it for $100, but then last minute decided i'd jack it up to $150 and see if I could get any bites at that.

Many bites, much interest. Now i'm wondering how high I could have gone.

My dad built a Formula Vee from a kit when I was like 5 or 6. He had me sit in the seat and steer it left and right as he and his friend pushed it back and forth to 'test' that he had assembled the front axle correctly. I was hooked. Our family has had many British cars; dad raced both an left and right hand MG, did hill climbs in an Austin Healey, and while this isn't British - he raced a Mazda RX-3. It looked a little like the police car from the original Mad Max.
