There are different options for who can see you or request you on linked in and one is email contacts. People have the ability to import contacts and request them all, so if he has your email, he could just hit the import option and it would send you a request.

 

Are you telling me I’m NOT supposed to use my email [email protected] for all my professional emails?

 

I use [email protected] for my email.

 

I recently logged onto my laptop and swore I saw gmail open to [email protected], but then Bearnie jumped on the keyboard and I never saw for sure.

 

I have other emails but rarely, if ever check them- I don't have time to keep up with everything and I have joined so many things over the years- it's like my phone, I hardly ever answer it cause I'm busy doing other things. So, I just use one email pretty much for everything these days.
