The toaster can't really be pulled out and moved to dump the bread out or unplug due to the location.

I emailed a requester, through the "contact requester" button and he included this in his reply:

"In addition, I would recommend in the future, using a different email if contacting researchers with your ID and/or HitCode as that would protect your anonymity. Don't worry about it in this instance as we will not be looking at IDs in any way but I thought I'd mention it for your information!"

In his reply I can clearly see my email address, which is my name and my worker ID as well as all the info about the hit. Is this how most people contact requesters when they need to. Is there another way that won't show my email address and ID. I thought if it was through Mturk all of that would be on private?

I'mma throw out what may be an unpopular opinion, but it's something I feel strongly about.

Toasters are dumb. Toaster ovens are excellent.
