We also don't know why masters gets revoked. Someone got mass rejected and their masters revoked even thought their approval rating is still higher than my own. It really doesn't make much sense.

 

it would suck if its just a random hit that gives you a phantom qual "never give masters to this person" for anything under 100% of the answers they want

 

So? Did you see the guy that got it for having 500+ rejections and only 50k hits?

Having 8k hits and getting it is pretty random, considering all the info we have seen.

This could also mean there is a secret batch people do that automatically gives them masters.

 

I think mturk is handing out masters based on nightly prayers. I've been praying every night at the foot of my bed to farm enough money so that I can go to disney world with my class mates on spring break.

 

Ohh, I mean $8K not the number of HITs. It was more than 50K hits most of them p9r

 

I don't know if original masters matter (I doubt it), but I got mine in '05 or something during a pretty long hiatus (I think I only made 800 that year), and rarely did any work besides what I could find manually, a few crap surveys from hwtf, and the porn tagging hits. I had way more rejections than I should have at the time.

I kind of figure it's demographics, because that's as random as it could be while also not being random from their perspective. No different than how people get turned away from registering while others get in with no issue. And clearly people lose masters = people gain masters, so it's a revolving door these days.
