And yes, some people in the town threated to shoot my lost cat if he "tresspassed," on their property sooo...I'd say this might end in someone shooting someone.

 

Without imminent danger, it is murder.

I think a lot of people just want an excuse to murder without going to jail for it. They're just itching for the opportunity.

 

Tell Matt to stop getting drunk and stealing stuff.

 

Or they are doing what they think is right in defending their private property and their family.
