I thought this was just me. Chrome has been super laggy, but I'm really good at breaking stuff so I figured it was my fault. It's on my to-do list this weekend to blow stuff up even further to see if I could fix it. After videogames.

Chrome uses a lot of ram.

Also if you are using hit finder in MTS it has a memory leak that likely hasn't been fixed since I checked about a week ago.

Unless you are hitting under 10% HDD space, I would imagine Chrome is the cause (memory leak or massive cookie/cache). You can always defrag, as long as it isn't a SSD. Defragging is pretty lazy, so it is always a good option.

 

Chrome uses 4 gigs of ram in my setup. That could be an issue for some people

@ChrisTurk is to blame for a lot of that as the forums use a gig a ram for me alone lol.

4GB?! What uses so much? The forum is roughly 100M for me, but I'm running it without scripts / themes on the hub. Total Chrome is <1.5GB with MTS / HF / PC / OW running. Each include list I'm ~150 includes. Currently on Chrome 64.
