I don't want my skates to count towards my steps or anything, but it just bums me when my distance for the day looks like I basically sat around all day

No fitbit! my skates don't magically propel me up the hill! I have to struggle bus up there myself! I've actually reached a point of burning about the same amount of calories skating as jogging, because I pace myself faster on skates and my hrm is like, "damn Grinch! you are really hauling ass!"

Is my PandaCrazy broken? I got an overwatch alert that Brian Z came up, but pandaCrazy didn't grab it. I manually accepted the hit... deciding that Panda must not be working properly I added to HitCatcher instead and I've now caught 9 in hitcatcher over past several minutes (both are running). The ID's are the same on each. On pandacrazy it shows [Acc:0 | Srch: 2808] Collect is highlighted green and GoHam is highlighted blue.

Maybe this is a stupid question. But you use your iPhone to track steps, right? How do you use the Fitbit app? Do they just allow linking the step info from your phone for any user not just Fitbit owners?

 

Mine is working fine... Does yours need an update?

Yeah, they let you link them up! I also have my apple health linked up with my gps apps that link with my heart rate strap tickr. I was getting the same steps from my shitty fitbit as my phone and I track all my dog walks/runs/skates/bike rides/whatever crazy shit I came up with this time with my monitor and gps anywho, so I have pretty accurate distance.
