I was obsessed with Billy Idol's "Mony Mony" (because I thought it was about a pony) and my dad eventually got so sick of it that he had to tell me someone broke into his vehicle and stole only that tape. I'm assuming parents these days don't get that relief when YouTube exists.

So much weird stuff gets through the app. I have to run across the room and block stuff all the time.

 

Any reason that you are directly using youtube instead of downloading videos?

 

Their algorithm isn't perfect, which is why I don't understand why people think Youtube is a substitute for a babysitter or actual parenting. Then again, people used television for the same thing.

 

Who needs youtube when you can just play Yuri on Ice for the kids.

 

I use the kids app on his tablet. Never really thought about downloading any videos.

@morweeg youtube still doesn't have my preferences down, either. i went to listen to mony mony, and next up was pearl jam. according to youtube, i am the world's biggest pearl jam fan.

(but at least it was a really good song)
