11/27 - Sampling Sunday!

I'm taking the day off. Ill look to make a FAQ thread in the next day or two. If anyone wants to help brainstorm content or wants other guides created, please PM me or tag me in stuff so I can start putting something together. I know we are missing a great deal out of what we had over at MTG and hopefully with a little bit of input from everyone we can put it all back together and keep it up to date and factual.

 

I hate when requesters do this:
"You or someone at this IP Address has already taken this study or a study in this study group. Return the HIT.
If you previously started this study but did not submit it "

Bc me and my gf live together and both do Mturk hits. It's really irritating. Why do they even have this in place?

Yes, it is. I went through it about 3 1/2 years ago. It's emotionally exhausting but you'll get through it. PM me if you wanna vent or anything.

 

I believe they put it in place to prevent someone from creating multiple mturk accounts and signing in and out of each account doing the same hit. Unfortunately for those like yourself or even those who share a collective internet connection (such as some college campuses) it will lock anyone else out once one person completes it.

 

the requester's site timed out? just message them. i'm sure they will set up a compensation hit

 

That's bs. Amazon requires SS# for every account. Unless you happen to have several persons complete info along with their ss #, which is very hard to do.

 

I was on staycation this week and took it pretty easy. Watching movies and went to my mothers twice which takes most of the day. I'll gladly take this.

Thank you! I've dumped most of my emotional baggage on poor @jessers for the past couple weeks and she's been absolutely amazing. Awesome. I'm still sort of handling the beginning stages, but the lawyer thinks it'll only take 3-6 months. And since I haven't made a single decision about life on my own for over 11 years, the prospect is sort of daunting.
