I hate that. When people come to visit and their choice is Olive Garden or something...THERE IS SO MUCH GOOD FOOD HERE!...even little hole in the wall places can be great and cheaper than the same old chain trash.

 

I haven't seen anything like that in Times Square for years and years. Anything that approaches truly questionable, gets relocated by your friendly neighborhood NYPD pretty quick in my experience.

 

my bro and I have been going to this Grille lately that has real good wings....last time after we ordered he was like oh hey look they have Bison burger! me why didn't you tell me sooner!

 

We went o an open air place between San Antonio and Austin where you just went in and bought your meat by the lb. got tortillas and just made them at the table. It was called outdoor something. Noice!

Exactly. I had a great meal a few years ago at this random place we spotted around the corner from where my sister was shopping for bridal gowns. Nothing special, it was in between lunch and dinner, asked if we could eat even though it was in between regular times, they said come on in. Delicious meal, great service, fantastic sangria. And the bill was extremely reasonable. Places like that all over the city. Which is why I still shake my head when I think about eating at a freaking Friday's in NYC. That Friday's meal was easily twice as expensive as the great one at the small place we found in Lower Manhattan.

 

Their breakfast is great because it's served from 11pm to 11am. Perfect for late night snaking when you aren't feeling a burger.
