What mouse did you have? I had that happen on a razer naga ages ago.

 

Razer wheels are crap, my Mamba's wheel went out 6 months in. I bought a G500 with a unlockable wheel and I liked it so much I now have 2 more in reserve for when this one goes out.

 

I think I want to swap to Corsair if I my Razer peripherals ever crap out, mostly because Razer Synapse is garbage software. But, then again, the older I get, the more I do my gaming on consoles.
