Right, that sentence was meant to test whether the test taker has the patience to finish reading a long sentence and pay attention to detail before making a judgment. I didn't expect a lot of people to trip up on it so I added a definition in the qual.

Just give it some more time. Since some here have got the qual it really just might be those of us not getting it are indeed not reading, or are reading and just not making the connection.

What is it that may cause a laxative effect on consumers? I read nothing with lactose in this product?

Answer:
Maltitol syrup; a sugar alcohol that causes excess water to pour into the large intestine, causing a loose stool to erupt with gusto! I've seen people eat this candy and only within 30 minutes look for a restroom in shear panic, because maltitol will produce "CENSOR"! I saw a maltitol demonstration at a Boeing Patent Awards ceremony, once, after the caterer provided sugar free treats

 

My only point is that if people aren't gonna read the whole sentence or attempt to atleast open a new tab to find out what the word means in the qualification hit, they're probably going to half ass the regular hits too.

 

Now if the question was about widget machines, baseball bats, and lily pads... I'd totally pass

Understood. Well, I failed twice, and now I am starting to think it is because I didn't slow down and make sure I was following.

I can't even find the qual hit. Is it still up?

 

You are on version 4(?) of the test, I believe. It is to the point now that if you continue to "simplify" the test, you are letting people in who don't have the right way of looking at the task. I didn't take the test again simply because I obviously don't and I would mess up your data. Maybe try posting it again tomorrow, when there are more people on? Sunday tends to be a slow day.
