The best thing mTurk has ever given me is perspective. Any time I ever get grumbly about my full time job I remember that I would probably happily do these tasks for like $1 each on mTurk and then it makes the rest of my work day so much more enjoyable.

 

Receptionists at doctor's offices are so forking stupid. I get a call saying that the other surgeon says that my insurance is not in effect and I tell her, yes I have a different insurance and I will be showing both of you the card today when I come in and she kept telling me that I don't have anything.... Then she says that we will have to cancel if I don't have insurance otherwise I will have to pay for all of it. Okay, bring it on, it needs to be done as I can't stand the pain anymore... I HAVE INSURANCE YOU DAFFY *ITCH.

Oh yeah and update on my jerk of a tenant. He is chronically late on rent. I've been w/e about it because I don't depend on the money and he always pays eventually, but now I have a ton more bills. I told him last month he had to step up and start being on time and he didn't like that and has been a jerk since. I have a clause in my lease that says I won't charge a late fee until 2 days past due (he's been up to a month late and I've never actually charged him a late fee).So today he decided to schedule his rent payment exactly two days late. Jokes on him because that's so much sooner than I expected it.
