    I could handle it. When I was in Boy Scouts we hiked to the bottom of the Grand Canyon from the South Rim. It was 10+ miles.

    I LOVE the turbines. It's my favorite part of the PCT around here cause I can hear that woosh squeak. I then make a ton of jokes about how, "THE WINDMILLS DEMAND THE SACRIFICE OF A NON-BELIEVER! PRAISE THE WINDDDDD!" It was stupid windy yesterday and the gusts kept knocking hikers down from time to time- still way preferable to a less windy day cause...hot desert with little to no shade.

    Ohhh, that sounds awesome. Could I have the same energy I had when I was 12 again though?

    Cause, that would be amazing. I'm now constantly baffled how I could just have boundless energy growing up and now I'm always falling asleep at my keyboard.

    I remember when I would come home from hours long dance rehearsals and just bike across town to my friend's house like it was nothing. I literally wanna die even thinking about that now. If I could harness the energy source of child me, I could thru hike THE WORLD.

    Ran into several hikers over 65, and that was some legit respect right there. Naturally, I was wearing my, "I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell," shirt and (luckily) they all read it and laughed cause I guess hikers have a good sense of humor. Phew.
