Good on you for going the 15 year route though! I know what you mean. I was freaking out when I signed a five year auto loan. The scariest part for me is like, dude I don't know where I'll be in the next couple years in terms of career and income let alone for the next 15 or 30. That being said I've never been unemployed for more than like a month ever and I could always go HAM on mTurk full time if I really needed to make ends meet. Got a STUPID low interest rate on the house though so I don't think I'll even bother paying it off early.
