They sent it out a couple of weeks back because some people were only spending 10~15 minutes on them. Not saying any names because it definitely wasn't me. Nope, no way. Also they were getting some really low quality responses like "yep, seems about right" which is why I assume they also put the big text at the top telling you you can flag comments.

I did mine last week and got the rejection for less the 40 minutes. I mailed them and they got back with me pretty fast about it. They reversed it and just told me to make sure that I take more time on it next time. They seem like okay people.

Pretty much what I've been doing. My hit time has basically tripled and I do the same amount of work.

 

Best advice I ever got from /r/mturk was from @Randomacts that people seem to suck at Mturk over there and if you wanted to take it seriously to come over here or another forum.

I'm still quite new, and by no means as good at it as most of y'all, but I've made way more than I thought possible in 2 months or so.

 

That guy's kind of an ash hole, but if you can get past that and his pathological need to always have the last word, his advice is generally okay.

I honestly think they were attempting to weed out people who were illiterate and incapable of putting together an argument as opposed to actual american adults with brain cells.

 

Those people should've been weeded out from day one and also the first iteration of this hit.
