Is it against the rules in the vrapis to social engineer a target to capture the property owner's home phone number, call them, and convince them you are a representative of Airbnb calling to thank them for being a host, to confirm their identity?

This seems to skirt the rule against contacting hosts through the rental site itself.

I worked on so many of those in the city...disgusting what the values are for what amounts to an apartment for most of them. That one sounds decent but I didn't look at the print to see if the bedrooms were bigger than my bathroom.

 

I’m right outside SF right now and we are staying at an Airbnb guest house with a kids loft (with a comically low ceiling) because it was cheaper than a 2 bedroom bnb by a long shot.

Obviously, I’m the chosen one for the kids loft. It has a vhs player and 90s Disney titles, so I’m pretty jazzed.
