I got a block yesterday and another one this morning or overnight. The only reason I know they are blocks is because for the one yesterday, I was emailing back and forth with the requester, who said they would use a qualification to make sure no one did more than 25 of each of 4 blocks, but I accidentally did more than 25 of one batch, then they blocked me and said they did so, because something was messed up about the qual. on the first batch, and sorry but they had to block me so I couldn't do any more! (Also this requester posts different stuff all the time, so hopefully they will take the block away after these batches run out!)

Then I stayed up late last night working on a profitable batch, until I reached $400 for the week, with bonuses (haven't gotten that solely from mturk in a year!), and then found out this morning I am blocked from doing more, because there are no quals, yet Amazon tells me I'm not qualified.

I haven't gotten one of those threatening emails from Amazon in at least 2-3 years. Should I be worried about this?

I think everyone knows the plus/minus checks for Joe Lo. If you were JLo, which one do you prefer;
1. a worker instantly answers the math problems correctly
2. a worker who sometimes enters an incorrect answer

The second worker is for sure a human but the first requester might be a bot.

So, even rejections can increase your ACCURACY to have masters. Humans make errors.

Accuracy is complicated. Our simple minds cannot fully understand the fundamental nature of ACCURACY.

 

I would definitely be careful for the next few months. but I wouldn't panic. but it seems like it's different for everyone so idk. sending you a hug though!!
