What’s funny is Matt deferred to me about a bunch of things with the inspections and stuff because, “ I often disregard things she says as paranoid, and then she’s eventually always right. “ The real estate agents were cracking up.

We already have a fun problem where the lot lines mean the neighbor has a garden on the lot we are buying and POTENTIALLY PART OF THEIR HOUSE.

Me: Won't that make us liable if she has an accident on our property? Say...if the dogs dig a hole and she trips in it and then breaks her bony hips and we've continued to allow her to garden on our property?

For the people nomming this. Search for the hit, it is there. You have to take a qual test to get into it.

 

There's a escrow deposit thing and the buyers can possibly hold it hostage (this is an extreme simplification) if we back out during the period of time we would get it back during, and the agents were warning us that it's usually peachy and not a big deal, but they've seen some folks be BONKERS about it and have to go to civil court to get it back.

She bounced another purchase we made (for a friggen evaportative cooler and now its gonna take a couple more days and Im dying of heat in here) and he had to call her and yell at her, and she used ALL THEIR POINTS. And the only reason he had her on there was cause they get more points together and before he had me to do his kingly bidding, she would buy crap for him when he asked. But, now he has meeee and I don't use every single of his points to get plane tickets to see someone that's not him for freeeee.
