    Also this just now:

    Thank you for your message!
We're sorry the HIT isn't submitting properly.
Please try refreshing your HIT page -- it will ask you the intro questions again, but the video should resume from very close to the end, and you should be able to submit properly.
If that is not the case, or time runs out, do not worry about watching the whole thing again! We have your data, and will be happy to provide you with a dummy make-up hit to pay you in full for your time.
In addition, thank you very much for your feedback! It is much appreciated.

Did you email him through his direct email or mturk? I need his direct email if he isn't responsive through mturk.

They both took me under a min to do... If a certain query is hard you can start over and do a different one.

    The instructions state

In the field XXX enter: $var1
In the field YYY enter: $var2

There's no instruction that says you can attempt a different pair.

The submit field has a title that says:

    Path from $var1 to $var2:

Also, the wikipedia page the game pulls up doesn't have the same links as actual wikipedia, so the only page that redirects to the page I'm supposed to find doesn't have a link to click.

The Wiki page the game is played on CLEARLY states that you can choose the option they give you, the options other people chose, OR custom. I generally just clicked the easiest looking ones that someone else did. Made it easier and quicker.

No, the point of the hit seems clearly to find the specific solution, not to reroll until you get an easy one to do.

    1. Follow the link to the Wikispeedia website.
    2. Find the fields XXX and YYY: "I'd rather find a path from XXX to YYY".
    3. In the field XXX enter:
    4. In the field YYY enter:
    5. Click "Go!" to start the game.
    6. Navigate from the page XXX to the page YYY by following the hyperlinks embedded in the articles.
    7. Once you have completed your path you will be directed to a page congratulating you and thanking you for your participation. The second line (top left) of this page reads "So far you have clicked Z links:" followed by a list of pages that you visited. If you believe that you can find a shorter path, repeat steps (1)-(7). Otherwise, continue to step (8).
    8. Copy the list of pages visited for the shortest path between XXX and YYY and paste them into the field below. For example, if you were assigned to find a path between "Brain" and "Telephone" then the second line of this page might read "So far you have clicked 4 links: Brain > Computer science > Information > Communication > Telephone". In this case you should copy "Brain > Computer science > Information > Communication > Telephone" and paste it into the field below.

Nowhere does this suggest "unless you find XXX and YYY to be too hard, in which case go ahead and reroll, who cares lol"
