I posted the entire survey instruction, that isn't cherrypicking.

Survey instructions trump the instructions inside the game interface, because the game interface is apparently being used by other users, not just Mturk workers. The point of the HIT seems evident; solve the game for the provided variables.

 

Not the first time, inexplicably. I used Chrome? I don't know if that matters

 

There's what's under the instructions. I don't understand how you are just blatantly ignoring the evidence right in front of you, lol.

• Play button next to other people's missions.
• Find a path.

 

Mine was a kangaroo to a specific star constellation. That path was a wild ride.

 

That sounds pretty dope and if it was taking too long you could always switch to another one.

 

I was on chrome too. The video opened in a separate window, but if you went back to the window you opened the hit on, there should have been the button? No code to enter or anything.

 

Didn't take long and it was like an adventure. But I'm familiar with wiki and I didn't overthink it like some people.

You see, I don't understand how there is any possibility for ambiguity here; the requester clearly wants these two words to be used, not for mturk workers to just reroll until they get the easy answer. I would imagine that the mturk tasks represent pairs of words that users of the game interface tend to ignore, and that is specifically the data the requester wants.

 

You are overthinking this.

 

I read the instructions the same way you did. I can assure you that that path is very doable.

 

That one took like 11 seconds, my point being, it's clear what the requester wants here.

 

I must follow all instructions, except in instances where following instructions would permit a human being to come to harm.
