9 rejections in 3 years of turking, only one of them earned. Constantly mocked by @THFYM and @Kadauchi for my timid, risk averse approach to requesters and tasks. Goes to show just what a stupid approach that is. Here's the lesson kids: If you can eat rejections, don't worry about them. I didn't listen to my betters and I've left so much money on the table, being cautious.

What stings the most with this is, it appears Amazon followed through on people reporting the hits and removed the requester (or he clued in, they haven't dropped in almost 24 hours), but they don't reverse rejections, even when they can see they were obviously unwarranted.

I will no longer fear rejections.
Rejections are the mind-killer.
Rejections are the little deaths that bring total obliteration.
I will face my rejections.
I will permit them to pass over and through me.
And when they have gone past I will turn the inner eye to see their path.
Where the rejection have gone there will be nothing. Only Braeligs will remain.

I hope all your hopes suffocate for lack of fulfillment, that any endeavors you attempt end in failure, that parasitic worms eat you from the inside out while your loved ones look on helplessly and that every condiment bottle you use henceforth overpours and ruins your dish. Two or three weeks ago I got one rejection out of a batch but didn't bother emailing because I figured it was my fault, and it was randomly reversed this week, so ... cool.

Yeah. Because I thought it mattered.

First one was a college survey. Virginia. I was too new to know I could really contest it; she said someone else from my IP had taken it. I was probably the only person on that IP, her crap was broken. One from some random Chinese survey. (Again, new). One from the facebook ad crap, before they changed their name. Many people got zinged by it (auto-rejected). 3 from Visual Genome (when their crap was broken). One from Raeken(?). Both he and VIsual Genome were willing to reverse (agreed it was messed) but couldn't. One from Noah (Dragon hit, broke version, auto-rejected everyone, couldn't reverse). I'm forgetting one. And finally, VRAPI -- that one, I earned.

 

How did you get rejected on a VRAPI? I've only heard of one person managing that

 

It was immediately after getting the qual. I didn't re-read the instructions, since I didn't realize they'd changed. It was for the Newport ones, where you were supposed to submit the numbers in different formats. Was literally the first batch after getting qualed, May of 2017.
