    If anyone wants to explain to me why it's humid-ish and super hot in the friggen mountains, that would be great.

    Dear SoCal, cut the crap with this bizarre heat wave and if there's going to be random humidity that makes my cooler stop working effectively, Y U NO RAIN? CAUSE THIS IS THE DESERT? WELL THEN WHY HUMID? PICK ONE! NOT BOTH!

    When it's over 90 in the mountains at elevation, you can bet your ass I'm not going down the mountain. I'm staying here, where it's 15 degrees cooler.

    It's usually like 3% humidity here at best and our town is considered an extreme fire hazard, except when it snows, and the random 3 days of the year when it rains.

    WELCOME TO THE HIGH DESERT YEE HAW!

    Now, go over to the valley, and you'll get some humidity, maybe even rain.
