Yeah I just looked. I miss the gibberish.

 

The other day someone was ordering my drink while I found a place to sit and the bartender gestured for me to come across the room and was like, "I'm sorry sweetheart, can I see your ID? I'm sorry, I just can't tell." I was like, "Dude I turn 33 in a few days, do not apologize. Thank you." And she still thought I meant 23, not 33, and had to do the math.

And that is how you get a patron for life.

My other two favorite stories are how someone accused me of using a fake ID to buy beer, and the time I was carded but the 22 year old next to me wasn't. I'm almost bummed when I don't get carded these days.

I'm 4'9", so I just assume people will always think I'm 15 until they see my id. What annoys me is when they doubt my license, as if I have the most accurate fake of all time.
