Yeah, my grandma will probably give all the good stuff to my aunt for reason other than she the only daughter. My aunt will just end up selling all of it because that what she does for money. I have a couple end tables that were in someone else's family (lol). My ex had no interest in the full set (which also had dressers and a bed frame and such). They had been in the family for generations and were beautiful but were a little worn. I rehabbed them, and I've toted the night stand tables (which are heavy AF) with me for the better part of a decade now. I sold the dressers and bed frame for a nice chunk of change. I sometimes regret selling them instead of keeping them, but at the time I had nowhere to store them/it was a pain to move and I just decided it was better to ditch the super bulky/heavy stuff for cold, hard cash.

Matt's mom claims she's giving the nice house stuff to his sister cause, "Well, you wouldn't want any of this stuff!" and his sister will def just sell it lol (she lives in an immaculate mansion sized house and does not need or want it). He also pointed out he would in fact like the tea sets and corningware and serving stuff (she has a ton of antique serving platters, napkin rings, etc), if only cause it would end up sold or in the attic with his sister but would actually end up used cause of me...this just inspired her to probably throw all that stuff off a cliff lol.

 

Ya know, I would normally say no, but that couch is somehow...sexy.
