Why do 80% of requesters not know enough html to make their urls hyperlinks?

They basically accepted everyone who did the qual batch. I've heard from someone who returned 16/35 of the hits and still got the qual. RIP indeed

 

Honesty none of us can, because if we choose to donate, partial hit payments are not allowed by mturk. I told the requester this and also told them that most studies ask us to make donations out of the bonuses not the payment. It's the 20 minute timer that sends this survey right to hell though. Everyone is going to rush though after being unable to donate, which ruins the data. I also mentioned to the requester how terrible short timers are for everyone.

 

You got more than me. I only got 10. I figured it was just capped since it was such a clean number. Rip indeed.

Just folks who feel like its unfair, which idk not really gonna be an argument I get into over there.

Also someone said its against the TOS which.. I really don't think anything about QBC violates the TOS myself (or I wouldn't send it to people lol) but no clue since the last time it was updated it specified automating tasks. Idk how you distinguish the difference between all the shit scripts already do & pandas in general versus using the vanilla website, too far above my head to argue over since its a really arbitrary line to draw but I've always taken it as "everything up until the preview page" is fine

Speaking generally about scripts:

To me the line is if the data is valid (enough). Like if you have something automating spitting in random answers, that's on the evil end of the spectrum, but if you have something just inputting the same crap you would have entered anyway, and enter in 20 million times a day, that seems totally fine, and anything less than that seems totally fine as far as grabbing goes.

 

He's usually pretty consistent with what he believes is correct/incorrect lol & its not like he's ever afraid of downvotes just b/c people disagree with him. Its probably my favorite part about reading his posts on that sub is he legit gives zero fucks & its hilarious to see him go like -14 just because its him even on threads where he gives really good advice to requesters and shit he'll randomly just end up at the bottom of the page for no reason
