Any idea if they eat anoles by chance? I used to have a TON of anoles every year but this year they've been completely replaced by those dudes.

Although judging by your other pics it def is a different version of them.. ours get to like half a foot long and are pretty damn thick as far as lizards go.

A large Skink would definitely eat another lizard. This species is fairly small so they would not. I can locate you fairly well by your question haha. In your area there are most likely 5 different skink species. I am assuming you are talking about the broad headed skink. To answer your question, yes a broad headed skink would definitely eat an anole if it was small enough. It could be the deal where all of the juvenile anoles were eaten so the population was not able to replace itself and the skinks took over.
