Well there are many options for you if you don't want to be bothered by chat. On the left hand side there is a hammer looking icon where you can set up keywords so that you get alerted for things that you want to get alerted for. I just don't get your opinion because you complained about good HITs not being posted but then you go on to say that you are doing them and that is a job well done in my book - there should be no complaint.

 

So basically you guys literally can't see why some people would find this to be too much? Not only that, but you are too cool to care? And your natural inclination isn't to try and see the other side of the coin, but to be a troll instead?

Sorry but that also filters out the somewhat rare useful information that is not hit related. Not a solution.

I love the dichotomy of this forum. I feel like most can keep up with fun and work and if you cant, there's work mode and a block mode, right? If you just wanted to know about work exclusively there's so many other ways to do that. That being said, I find the Low Quality Content Posts break up the monumental monotony of turking.

 

Uh...Hi, I'm not a mod! Feel free to ignore me! I make a point to be nice to people even when they say or do something I don't much enjoy because I think it's very easy to tune someone out if they are annoying me. I take no offense to being ignored by anyone.

I don't think it's reasonable to expect everyone to change the way they're talking, especially all of a sudden. It's all cool y'all. I was just giving a voice to some people who may have felt disaffected, myself included.

But in reality all forums have their "chat" aspect to them and in all forums you will have to do a small amount of work to find the rare and useful information that you are looking for. Not only that, there are plenty of things that you can do on your own to find out that information as well. Like for example, I have my keyword set to panda, anytime anybody says anything about a panda it pops up for me and I know somebody just posted a panda. I have set it to qual and other things and I have no problem finding the information I need. Everyone is pretty good at the reply feature on this forum too, so if there is something I really need to know I can follow the arrows right next to the name
