I'm afraid you may be in the minority there. There's no doubt I'd have fun playing mario party and mario maker and 3dworld, etc. I was planning on getting one once they started price dropping, but then they announced they quit making them and the prices just started going up. I had no real motivation to get one because the vast majority of opinions were just kind of like... meh it's ok. Plus I don't know one IRL person that owns one. One of these days when Vintage Stock has tons of used one for $99 I'll pick one up lol. I'm very interested to see how these things hold up. Holding a glass console in your hands seems like asking for trouble but we'll see. I hope good things for them.

My UPSs ran out of power so I can't really work.. although my laptop still has around 4 hours of battery left.

They may very well end up being super durable and able to take a beating but I'm betting it will lead to at least a few case of ultra extreme nerd rage when some doofus throws it across the room like they used to do with a controller.

DUDE, to this day I remember the time a guy threw an xbone controller in a rage over the PGA golf game; the cord wrapped around the coffee table and the controller whipped around and broke the brand new flatscreen tv screen. Cue a total rage.
