Yeeeey, I am a big ash hole to let you know this since Polar Bear wants to let the big news get out by himself.

He accepted a job at Canada and will graduate at this May. I am not allowed to say the university to protect his identity but he will be an assistant professor starting this August with a six figure salary.

Congrats to him.

 

Just wrote to Erik Peterson to complain about his adding 66% more work for the same pay. I imagine the effect will be fuck-all (or the response "fuck off"), but hey -- his hits are just sitting out there undone now. Because they suck.
